1. Who is Pfeiffer?
Pfeiffer, an imprint of Wiley, publishes essential tools and materials for training consultants, human resource practitioners, facilitators, and coaches. We offer effective and customizable tools, workshops, assessments, and guides designed to help people in all types of organizations do their jobs better and more efficiently.
2. What makes Pfeiffer traning materials the best?
Pfeiffer's training programs save time and expense by offering proven, ready-to-use materials and organizational surveys including one-half to three days in length workshops, exercises, activities, games, 360 instruments, and assessments for use during a training, coaching or team-learning event. These resources are frequently offered in loose-leaf or CD-ROM format to facilitate copying or customization of the material. Pfeiffer also recognizes the power of new technologies in expanding the reach and effectiveness of training. We are dedicated to bringing convenience and enhancements to proven training solutions. All our e-tools comply with rigorous functionality standards. The most appropriate technology wrapped around essential content yields the perfect solution for today's facilitators, consultants, and resellers.
3. What type of training programs does Pfeiffer offer?
Entire, ready-to-use learning programs that focus on a particular training objective or learning opportunity. Training and development topics covered by our products include leadership development, management development, diversity awareness, and team building, just to name a few. All packages are comprised of a guide for the facilitator/trainer and a workbook for the participants. Some packages are supported with additional media-such as video-or learning aids, instruments, or other devices to help participants understand concepts or practice and develop skills.
- Facilitator’s guides contain an introduction to the program, advice on how to organize and facilitate the learning event, and step-by-step instructor notes. The guides also contains sample copies of presentation materials-handouts, presentations, and overhead designs.
- Participant workbooks contain exercises and reading materials that support the learning goal during the training program and often also serve as valuable reference and support materials for participants in the weeks and months that follow the learning event. Typically, each participant will require his or her own workbook.
- Assessments/Instruments are available to assess, appraise, evaluate, describe, classify, and summarize various aspects of human behavior and are offered both on paper and in electronic format for many topics such as leadership, team development, diversity, and professional business.

A “Pfeiffer Partner” is a consultant, facilitator, or coach who focuses on the sales, marketing, and delivery of Pfeiffer products.

7. What kind of industry professional would be most successful in this program?
Partners who would be most successful in this program are those who have some familiarity with leadership and business related training packages, either from previous sales or training experience or as a participant in those training courses. Most parters are training industry consultants, coaches, or facilitators of training products with experience in various industries.
8. What is the process to become a partner?
To become a Pfeiffer Partner, the following forms must be filled out and submitted to our office for review. Upon acceptance, you will be assigned a dedicated training sales consultant that will be responsible for your account.

9. Are there any fees to enroll in the program?
There are no fees to becoming a Pfeiffer Partner although some training packages may have a cost associated if you choose to become certified for that product.
10. Are there any certifications necessary to become a partner?
There are no certifications necessary to become a member of the Pfeiffer Partner Program. However, facilitator certification is available for certain products.
11. What type of sales and marketing support does Pfeiffer offer?
We all recognize that professional development is the key to success for any business. Pfeiffer offers many options to stay connected and receive ongoing support through webinars, author coaching sessions, a community website, author blogs, conferences, dedicated training sales consultant support and a “Pfeiffer Tool Kit” comprised of sales and marketing collateral, PowerPoint presentations, FAQ’s, product positioning papers, sample mailers, and email blasts for our training packages. Pfeiffer is always looking for new ways to increase partner support and will continue to roll out new benefits and other support methods as developed
12. Will I receive any sales leads from Pfeiffer and how will they be distributed?
If you are an active Pfeiffer Partner you will be eligible to receive web leads. All web leads will be given to Partners at the discretion of the Pfeiffer Partner administrator. The Pfeiffer Partner administrator will match the lead based on criteria such as the geographic location of the lead to the Pfeiffer Program, a pre-existing customer/Partner relationship, and the activity level of the Partner.
13. How does the Pfeiffer Partner referral incentive work?
If you are currently an active partner with Pfeiffer and you refer a new partner to the Pfeiffer Partner Program and they are accepted into the program, you will receive a $250.00 gift certificate for any Pfeiffer/Jossey-Bass title.
14. Are there any geographic territories/boundaries?
At this time there are no pre-set geographic sales territories. We have made a conscious decision not to put confining restrictions on our partners’ ability to grow their business by partnering with Pfeiffer. We will, however, assign you to geographic territory for the purpose of dispersing web leads from Pfeiffer to the appropriate partner and to allow visitors to the website to find the most geographically desirable partner.
15. How many partners are you looking to accept?
We do not have a set number of partners in mind. However, we are looking to partner with people who share our interest of aggressively growing their business using Pfeiffer products. If there are a number of successfully active partners within a geographic region, we will accept fewer new partners within that region. Keep in mind that not every partner will be offering every Pfeiffer title, so there may be more room for partners within a region.
16. Can I represent other companies while I’m a Pfeiffer Partner?
Yes, you can. While there are many training resources out there, we believe Pfeiffer offers “best in class” resources that are transferable across all vertical markets both locally and globally. We do ask that if the sales or delivery opportunity came to you from Pfeiffer that you represent only our products to that customer lead.
17. Can I still market the training programs that I have developed?
Of course. However, we do ask that if the sales opportunity came from Pfeiffer that you offer only Pfeiffer products and do not try to promote your own products to that lead. Please also keep in mind the copyright laws for intellectual property. If you have any questions about re-printing or use of our products, please contact Pfeiffer directly.
18. Will I have a dedicated contact within Pfeiffer for information and purchasing?
Yes, you do. Once accepted into the program you will be assigned a dedicated sales consultant who will be your direct contact. Your dedicated sales consultant will be responsible for handling all your orders, questions, and overall sales needs and, most importantly, will serve as your resource. Our goal is to help you develop your business and become a successful Pfeiffer Partner; the relationship with your dedicated sales consultant is key to making our partnership a success.
