Photocopy Use
If you want permission to photocopy excerpts of Pfeiffer, Jossey-Bass, or Wiley books or journals, you should apply directly to the Copyright Clearance Center's Website. Your representative at the Copyright Clearance Center will refer your request to us if they cannot handle it.
You may apply directly to us for permission to photocopy in the following instances:
If the Pfeiffer, Jossey-Bass or Wiley book that you want to photocopy is the adopted (required) book for an educational course, please fill out the Photocopy Request Form.
If you want simultaneous print and e-course pack use, please fill out the Republication/Electronic Request Form.
If you are a Pfeiffer, Jossey-Bass or Wiley author and want to photocopy from a book for an educational course, please fill out the Photocopy Request Form. (Fill out the Republication/Electronic Request Form for any other use.)
Out-of-Stock Books for Educational Use
If you're an instructor/professor who has adopted (required) a book for your course, and the book will not arrive before the start of your semester, you can obtain the right to photocopy materials in the interim. In order to do so, please use the Out-of-Stock Request Form.
Republication/Electronic Use
To republish Pfeiffer, Jossey-Bass, or Wiley book or journal excerpts (including tables and figures) in other print products -- or use Pfeiffer, Jossey-Bass or Wiley book excerpts in multimedia channels, including posting on Websites -- please fill out the Republication/Electronic Request Form. Please note that in order to post journal excerpts to Websites and other multimedia channels, you must contact Rachel Smaltz, STM New Media Department, via fax (201) 748-8800 or e-mail: rsmaltz@wiley.com.
E-Files for Visually Impaired Students
If you are a student with a visual and/or learning disability, as outlined by the state in which you are studying, and enrolled in a course where a Pfeiffer, Jossey-Bass or Wiley book book is adopted, you are eligible to receive an E-File as a substitute for the traditional print version of the book.
Simply have the disability center at the institution where you are enrolled submit a signed E-File Statement (with assurances), to:
John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
Permissions Department
111 River Street
Mail Stop 3-05
Hoboken, NJ 07030
Fax: 201-748-6008
E-Files will be delivered by Wiley's Web Publishing Technology Archive Manager as PDFs in an e-mail attachment, or as a download from Wiley's FTP site. You may alternately choose to receive your E-file in Microsoft Word or ASCI text as necessary, or on a CD-ROM. A limited number of Pfeiffer and Wiley titles are available in XML.
If you have not received your E-File for the requested title(s) within 15 business days of your submission, please contact Wiley's Web Publishing Technology Archive Manager, Heather Malloy at (201) 748-6923.
If you require an audio version of your text instead of an E-File, you should contact Readings for the Blind & Dyslexic. If Readings for the Blind & Dyslexic does not currently have the title you are requesting available in audio format, or if you require a large-print or Braille version of your text, please contact Paulette Goldweber for a license to have an audio edition, a large-print edition, or a Braille edition of the title made by your school.
