| This activity introduces a new way of getting personal at the beginning of an event. Participants use slogans to introduce themselves. Contributed by Phyliss Cooke, Ph.D., and Tara L. Kuther, Ph.D.
Objectives:
- To establish a warm, personal tone at the beginning of a training event
- To allow participants an opportunity to use personal slogans as a safe way to introduce themselves a part of the getting-acquainted process
- To provide trainers with a creative way to establish a desired atmosphere for learning
Group Size: Any size group of participants who do not know one another well, in subgroups of 3 to 5
Time Required: 25 to 45 minutes, depending on the number of participants
