Section 1: Group Process:
This section includes a wide variety of activities that address issues concerned with the group process: getting acquainted, group observation/awareness, group norms, member roles, trust, the effects of member behaviors on groups, and closure.
Section 2: Task-Oriented Processes:
This section of activities examines those functions that contribute to getting a job accomplished, including strategic planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and resource use.
Section 3. Relationship-Oriented Processes:
This section of activities explores maintaining good working relationships within the group, including collaboration, conflict resolution, negotiation, and leadership.
Section 4. Communication:
The activities in this section deal with various aspects of communication, including communication styles, nonverbal communication, listening, and feedback.
Section 5. Personal Awareness:
This section includes activities that focus on the individual as a key component in the group process. They emphasize self-disclosure, values clarification, perceptual set, and motivation.
